A jet ferrying the US defense secretary was forced to make an unscheduled landing in the Britain on Wednesday due to a fissure was found in the jet's front window, according to an official statement which verified that Hegseth was safe.

"The jet touched down based on standard procedures and all individuals on the flight, including Defense Secretary Hegseth, is unharmed," a spokesperson stated in a public statement.
