Trump's Family Member Seeks Expert Advice from Golf Legend Woods Ahead of LPGA Debut

Emerging athlete getting ready for significant competition

The rising star maintains impressive social media following

Kai Trump can count on plenty of high-profile supporters when she starts her professional golf debut this Thursday.

The 18-year-old athlete, who happens to be connected to a former US president, received a tournament invitation to play at the Annika tournament in Florida.

The former president, someone who loves golf, possesses multiple golf courses and regularly competes against his granddaughter.

"He's pretty good. I can't reveal details but we have competitive games," she stated.

The golfer shared that Trump, who cannot attend, told her: "Simply avoid anxiety."

"He basically suggested to compete and enjoy myself," she added.

"To me, he's simply a normal grandpa. He can't make it this weekend. He's occupied with presidential duties, making him quite busy."

Being non-professional, Kai has participated in only three events recently and maintains position 461 in AJGA listings.

Yet she can seek guidance from Tiger Woods, who is dating her mother.

"He stands as the top athlete worldwide," the young golfer said.

"Additionally, he's an even better person. He suggested me to play, have fun, and go with whatever happens."

She'll challenge some of top competitors in the sport at the competition, including world number two Nelly Korda, England's golfer Hull, professional Thompson and last year's winner champion Vu.

Tournament organizers stated that her participation exposes golf to wider groups, especially reaching the next generation.

The young star boasts millions of followers and has started an exclusive apparel and wellness company.

Her first tee time at 5:30 PM GMT.
