Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy conducted a visit to speak to defense personnel in the Donetsk region on the start of the week. The president confirmed that he consulted warriors at the military base of the first unit of the state defense force Azov, which is managing protective maneuvers in the Dobropillya area, an urban center approximately a short distance from Pokrovsk.

Intense Conditions in Pokrovsk

Updated analysis from a local initiative indicated that invading troops had made gains into the city and surrounding areas, though a large portion was not fully held by both forces. The situation remains critical, with updates indicating that Russian forces were fortifying positions and strengthening posts in certain areas.

Kyiv's Long-Range Assaults Inside Russian Territory

Ukrainian long-range drones targeted a production facility approximately 1,300km inside Russia at the location. Regional authorities reported an explosion at the industrial complex that caused its water treatment facility to partially collapse, adding that the cause of the explosion was unconfirmed. The national defense command stated there was extensive harm to the complex.
